Q the PhysicistThis week ushers in the first installment of the weekly Phuture Frequency podcast, “The Sounds of Phuture Frequency” hosted by yours truly. After the crack-esque posting frenzy of a couple of weeks ago, the management was kind enough to ask me to host this weekly offering seeing as I might be able to keep the pace. Thanks management!

The Sounds of Phuture Frequency begins its tenure with a nice selection of tunes I came across recently. For openers, CLS and Wax come blasting into 2008 with “Broken,” a roller that’s nice and deep and sets the stage for the “lightheaded” portion of the mix. Qumulus weighs in with a couple of nice liquid tunes rolling you through as well. I was also recently reacquainted with Agent Alvin, who brings a particular deep electro vibe to the mix, while the addition of the DJ Friction and Prolix tunes provide some, if not all, of the “heavyhanded-ness” of the set. Enjoy!
