It’s been a while since our last exclusive mix, so I thought I’d get into gear again and call upon one of the DJs who’s at the forefront of promoting true Drum ‘n’ Bass throughout the scene, Mantra. The mix takes you through an entire decade of Drum ‘n’ Bass, starting out in 1993 and winding up in 2003. This has got to be one of the most comprehensive “dnb history” mixes we’ve had on PFRadio, so prepare to be educated.

Got drums? We do! Yes, yes, yes, this week’s got a lot of driving drums pushing the beat coming from the likes of Bad Company, Random Movement, Operon and Saburuko. BC needs a special mention in that they may have been, in my humble opinion, the greatest production outfit to ever grace the face of drum and bassdom. Dogsploitation is a fine example of their talents to be sure. Also, don’t miss Buzz’s Soulburn released on the Plainaudio netlabel for free a couple of years ago as this tune is really the business.
