Phuture Frequency Radio (PFRadio) was started up in 2001 by Raptures. It quickly became a popular and well known 24/7 Drum n Bass Internet radio station, which offered daily live shows from some of the most talented Drum n Bass DJs across the globe. It still holds the title of being one of the UK’s longest running Internet radio stations.
PFRadio has seen many established DJs and Record labels play on its airwaves, including D.Kay, Muffler, Pendulum, V Recordings, WiLSH, Mace, Temper D, Insight, Heist, Cause 4 Concern, Counterstrike, 0=0, DJ Spice, Guvna, Typecell, Alley cat and many, many more. PFRadio’s main goal however, is to promote new talent in the scene. It has seen many DJs get booked to play in big venues and even abroad.
In 2006, PFRadio ceased it’s live shows due to financial difficulties and turned over a new leaf to start its premier Podcast service. Since it’s launch in June/July 2006, it has averaged at over 9000 downloads of shows per month and has proven to be an excellent success. All the shows remain completely free of charge. The station has always remained a non-profit business, we just do it for the music!
