Phuture Frequency is now split into three different genre related podcasts and one podcast that encompasses all episodes. This page will outline each of the new podcast and how you can subscribe to them.
Here are the podcasts…
This is the original podcast from Phuture Frequency. It includes all the shows and mixes that are released on the Phuture Frequency website – from Drum ‘n’ Bass to Dubstep, Jazz, Hiphop, Techno and more. This podcast has a high volume of mixes submitted, but is an excellent way to be exposed to all types of alternative dance and bass music.
Motion is the original sister-podcast of Phuture Frequency. It’s built a following based on presenters showcasing more downtempo music styles, such as underground hiphop, jazz, soul/funk and more. All left-field urban styles are represented by the collection of resident DJs. This podcast is one for true music lovers.
Our Electronic podcast is based around dance floor oriented bass music. Expect to hear plenty of Dubstep, House and Techno, but nothing cheesy. This is the podcast you’ll rock when you need beats but Drum ‘n’ Bass is just a little bit too fast.
This podcast is for the Drum ‘n’ Bass purists. Phuture Frequency’s specialism has always been Drum & Bass, so this podcast only includes the Drum & Bass shows by Phuture Frequency’s global roster of DJs. Expect a whole range of D’n'B styles to be played on this podcast, from Liquid Funk to Tech – it’s all there!
Subscribing to a podcast means that new shows and mixes will automatically be downloaded onto your computer, without the need for checking the website. In most cases, people normally use the iTunes player to subscribe to Phuture Frequency as this can automatically place new episodes onto your iPod, iPod Touch or other portable Apple device – no effort required!
